In one photo, it looked like a lot of people walking away from it (very blurry and I'm on an iPhone, so I could be way off). That wouldn't make sense for a drill.

From news reports, it appears a plane did blow a tire and catch fire, but all passengers were evacuated. Ironically, this happened on fire drill day, just minutes after O'hare sent out a tweet telling people not to be alarmed by a fire drill.
