O is a better recruiter than all of those coaches that you named. and, since he's not a micro manager, he's perfect for all of the talent that he recuits. so.......get a top tier OC/DC and roll with it.

And he wouldn't let the boosters run the show.

If I read this one more time I'm going to have an aneurysm. The most impressive coach thus far has been Ensminger. I'm not in support of keeping Orgeron at the moment, but people who think Orgeron can keep his job but we need a top OC have it backwards.

I think he has earned it! Where is your credentials for picking a head coach. If you think the ones that you named will beat Sabin then you better go back to the coaching school you came from. Just look at the records of the coaches you named.

This is the only thing that CEO has yet to prove that he can do. He has done everything else as a head coach that you could ask for.

Lets look at the positives: He gets his teams ready to play, recruits well, gets the most out of his assistants (Has a tight ends coach coordinating a 40ppg offense), has coached in the NFL, has coached in many high profile programs (USC, Tennessee, LSU) so has lots of coaching connections

Lets looks at the non-negatives:
He doesn't lose to teams with less talent, doesn't mismanage the clock, doesn't make stupid head coaching decisions during the game, doesn't hamstring his assistant coaches, doesn't ride the players or assistants hard (like he did as HC)

Let's look at the biggest question mark:
We don't have any data on his evaluation and hiring of assistants other than his Ole Miss experience. I would think that since he was worked with a lot of great offensive coordinators that he would have the experience to properly evaluate their capabilities, but it is difficult to assess without seeing him actually be successful at doing it.
