He grew up in State College. Played at Penn St. Coached at Penn St. Likely would have never left if Sandusky never happened and the new coach offered him a position.
Penn St. in return scapegoated him.
His wife left him. He hasn't worked in coaching since and likely never will.
His life if effectively ruined.
If I were him I would gladly trade the $7.3mil to go back in time and never accept the GA position under JoePed.

He ruined his own reputation by not intervening, by waiting 24 hours to say anything, and by going only to JoePa and not the police.
Penn State didn't lie about the soulless ginger. He's radioactive because people disapprove his actions, not because people believe anything about him that isn't true.
