I mean to each their own. I have like 5 pairs of roshes but the sole on the original roshe run/1 is really not that great.
The sole on the flyknit roshes are a huge improvement.
I'd say my flyknit lunar 3s are the nosy comfortable shoe I have. That or my adidas ultrabounces.

I only wear tennis shoes with athletic shorts, usually doing something active... like tennis.

The original is much more rigid and the heel is hard as a rock.
The newer version is a LOT more flexible and forgiving.
