All of the writing for this was on the wall. He is obviously aware of politics and hitting every front he can to gain support.

I agree with others in that it is his job to lose.. Give him credit- has coached at both ends of the country, knows Louisiana better than anyone, will recruit his arse off. Has many positives- forget that Ole Miss disaster. But even then, he was pulling in talent, which Houston Nutt won with after he was fired.
