As you might know, the Fibonacci sequence is a string of numbers beginning with 0 and 1 (or 1 and 1), where every next member in the sequence equals to the sum of the previous two numbers. So - 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, etc.
On "Lateralus," the sequence can be found within the title track when you look at the syllables Maynard is singing:

If you actually listen to the song list in The Holy Gift order, the transitions between songs and the song lyrics make FAR more sense. The Holy Gift song arrangement sounds totally different but much better.
