I love Lonesome Dove, so Gus talking about cutting cards for a poke and cheating at cards for a poke always cracked me up.

So, when I want some, I say to my wife, "ready for a poke?" or "wanna poke?" And if we did it the night before, she might say "we just poked last night" and sometimes it's just "let's get a morning poke"

Basically, "poke" is our go to word for sex.
