I just like to be comfortable. Box stands can be comfortable, climbers can be too. I grown to not like tripods and ladder stands. I get fidgety and move around a lot and want to get down earlier on morning hunts. I will still hunt tripods and ladder stands, but I dread it sometimes. My legs and back get restless.

Use a mix of both. If im bow hunting, i prefer to use my climber or a lock on. Will bow hunt from tents if its an area with no good tall trees to support a climber. If its cold as shite or if im with someone, ill grab my rifle and some beer and go sit in a box or a tent. Ive had success from all.
