Due to belief in the Resurrection of the body. Would probably be smart to have it all in one place, rather than here and there.

So God can resurrect my decomposed body, but tracking down the ashes is a little too much for him?

As if God cannot renew a cremated body if it's scattered? Better check the Bible friend. There are no limits to the power of the one true God.
