Not even close the best offense was 2009 we actually could run the ball and called a balance game

2011 had every single WR 2009 had and another dominant OL.

The difference being we had massive upgrades at TE and RB.

2011 had Ivory over Mike Bell, Sproles over Bush, and Jimmy's career year over Shockey.

2011 Saints Offense should only be compared to 2007 Pats, 2013 Broncos, and the Greatest Show on Turf.

2011 was one of the greatest offenses I have ever seen of any team.

As to our current WR's they are good but the best part is how damn young they are. Only going to get better from here on.

If we're strictly talking WRs I think this is the best group in team history.

I feel like even though Colston, Henderson, Meachem and Moore were 4 deep, none of them were diverse. They all played one role. Our current group, all three of Thomas, Cooks and Snead, can play just about any receiving role. We've seen all of them go deep, we've seen all of them catch screens, outs, slants, etc. They're very diverse.

It's at the point where they must be ridiculously difficult to gameplan for. Who do you defend? You have no idea who is going to do what on any given play.

I think overall as an offense I would take 2011 over this team just because the element of Sproles out of the backfield can never really be replicated. But they're damn close.

2009 and 2011 offenses were better however this is our best wr core if you aren't factoring in tight ends (graham, shockey) and rbs (Thomas, bush, sproles) as receivers. Anyone who thinks meachem and Henderson were great receivers are a little biased bc we won a superbowl w then. They were role players while Snead, Thomas, and cooks are WAY more versatile as wide receivers
