How many of those who go bankrupt played on a 10 day contract or for one year or a short time. I'd love to see the bankruptcy rate for guys with multiple years in the league

I doubt some guys getting a 10 day contract are skewing the information that much. The bankruptcy number is 60%. Lets say we dump out the small 10 day contracts or the guys who are in and out in a year, I think its safe to say the number is still at least 50%.
Look at the expenses of these people. That 42k a year is around half a million a year. Average salary is 5 million. After taxes and agent costs, we can call that 3 million. These are conservative numbers because we are just basing this off the 50 guys that signed up for the study. These guys probably realize whats at stake and their spending habits are probably on the lower side.
