Total offense has nothing to do with it. Hell Ole miss put up 522 total on Bama. It has more to do with special teams , field position and total D allowed

Turnover differential will be the bottom line. If we aren't +2, it won't be close.

This is correct. The last 3 games against the gumps in Death Valley in '10, '12 and '14, LSU put up well into 400's of total offense and the gumps only had in the high 200's in the last 2 games, yet still won. But, remember, we also had Les Miles back then and we'll see how this year's game will play out. No more stupid 4th and 1 wildcat sneak up the middle like in '12 or fake field goals please.
