I do not discount Herman; I do question if he will be successful at LSU. I also think Orgeron might be a much different coach than he was at ole miss and he also has great high school connections in Louisiana and can recruit his arse off. if he is surrounded by top flight asst coaches and can keep aranda I think he can be a damn good HC at LSU.

and yes, it is a bit reactionary. we need to let this thing play out. but if he runs the table or barely loses to only one other team and ends up 7-0 or 6-1 I think he deserves a 4 year contract. he's a local boy and i'm pulling for him to succeed.
