I posted a flippant response because it is what I do on here but the reality of things are what several posters have said....indirectly...There is no ONE course for every one. Some find the person for them and it happens when they are young...some older and some never. Marrying later when you know yourself and what YOU want is probably safer and smarter...but comes with it a different set of risks.

I would imagine that first time marriages that happen after the age of 30 or so probably last longer.

You will likely turn the corner one day and bump into the person for you....I can only hope you are as happy as I have been for 26 years...
