I couldn't believe that some on here were saying that. Guice is a very good back but LF is another level. He is incredible to watch.

If I have to get a first down, Guice is still my go to.

Fournette is the best back to ever play at LSU though.

Yeah, NO! Guice is a top 10 back in the country, but he's not as good as Fournette at ANY down and distance. To say otherwise is foolishness.

Good thing you are not calling the plays then. They pulled Guice a couple times on 3 rd and short to feed LF.

Love Guice. Great back.

But LF7 is on a completely different level. The talent gap is astronomical. Not even close. LF7 is a once in 5 lifetimes back. No one alive today will ever see a back as good as him wearing the purple and gold again in their lifetime

LF7 is unreal but I wouldn't go that far.

This. Guice averaged 150-plus per game while Fournette was out, so we didn't lose much.

But what Fournette did last night....Damn.

No, I didn't.

If I have a 3rd and short situation, I feel like Guice is more of a sure thing. If I had to pick 1 back from the history of LSU to be on my team, I'm taking LF7.

Remember how Kevin Faulk made an NFL career out of being an unbelievable 3rd down back if not one of the greatest ever? It's similar logic to that, and I'm not contradicting myself.

Fournette is going to dominate any mediocre to good defensive line. A great defensive line like Bama, I think you'll see Guice be more effective.

Guice is very patience an is good at letting the play develop but fournette is just better everywhere else.

Guice may be a little better at finding a few yards when they are none, but if LF7 has just a little room so that he can get up to speed, he is unreal.

I'm not arguing that Guice is better or even equal to LF, but I'll say this about Guice as compared to LF. When there isn't an obvious crease or hole to hit LF doesn't seem to get much, where Guice seems to find an extra yard or two and frequently turns nothing into a big gain.

Guice is going to make a living in the NFL, which puts him in the top 1% of college RBs. So that puts Fournette in the top .01%.

Do you have to promote your anti Orgeron agenda in every single thread now?

LF hits a crease and gets to the secondary better than anyone..AND when he gets there someone is going to get embarrassed, but if he doesn't have that crease he is as human as any other RB in the NCAA.

Guice was very tentative last night. A lot of dancing and waiting. The holes were there, he just didn't take the opportunity. Was trying to hit the homerun on every run.
