As I have stated..

LSU has already shown a VERY average coach like Miles. LOOK AT HIS RECORD there.. Okie St actually got better AFTER him.. if Miles, who is not an x and o coach can come in at LSU while LSU is established.. and maintain.. imagine an above average x and o's coach at LSU.. the sky is the limit.. this is why LSU, to me, is the most attractive job in the country.. they have shown they can withstand a coaching change, even with a meh hire..

Look now, even when Miles got stale, yet another coach, who is not really an x and o guy.. and a lovable character has come in and motivated success with the talent.

I worry about the longevity of getting by with just that. What happens if the OC hire doesn't work out.. or the DC.. now you are stuck trying to fix both sides of the ball..

Like I said..

Urban has OC's leave all the time, he's still going to always field great offenses. That is a beautiful thing to have.
Saban has DC's leave now.. does it even matter? No..

Both are genius at their side of the ball.. but both lose games they shouldn't..

Look at Bielema now.. lol.. everyone was pumping this dude up.. look at how horrific he has been.. then everyone just a week ago was actually considering his OC hire Enos? and now look at how shitty their offense was..

Herman knows how to scheme to beat superior defenses, especially when he has equal talent or close to.. he will always have that at LSU.. and he can afford 1 loss at LSU.

Regardless, I think LSU can have elite success as long as they hire an above avg coach.
