If you're a fan of Better Than Ezra, they're playing a concert at Walk On's the night before the game. Tickets are $20 and they always play a good show.

Some of my recommendations for places to eat are The Chimes, Louie's, Red Zeppelin, TJ ribs, Schlitt's and Giggles, Mike Anderson's, Parrains, Pastime, and if you're a fan of Raising Cane's the original location is on Highland near The Chimes. The food is exactly the same as every other Cane's, but it's a cool thing to see.

For bars just be sure to avoid Tigerland.

As far as tailgates, pretty much 90% of campus is covered with them. Some of the most popular spots are the parade grounds, the indian mounds, dalrymple drive, the rv lots, the old front nine near nicholson extension, the area between lockett hall and the design building, and the parker coliseum.

Be sure to catch the players and the band marching down victory hill and there's usually free concerts by the PMAC all day.

If college gameday is town I also recommend checking that out. They'll most likely be set up on the parade ground.

If you want to get some LSU souvenirs either check out the Bookstore by the Union or the sport shop by the stadium.

Be sure to get in your seats about an hour to 45 minutes before kickoff so you don't miss any of the pregame festivities inside of the stadium.

Also, check out Mr. Ronnie's Donuts on Lee Drive on Friday or Sunday. It's one of two locations (other one is in Houma, La) and in my opinion they're the best donuts in existence.
