As a non subject matter expert, I have nothing useful to add on the actual medicine.

My experience is just an anecdote. I went to chiropractic care for 18 months a few years ago. I have a bad back and neck from a near fatal car crash that I was involved in a week after my 16th birthday. The pain was enough to impact my quality of life, so I paid out of pocket for care.

The chiropractor gave me immediate relief from chronic pain, most of the time, but I began to realize that I was worse off than when I ever started if I missed a visit or two.

I have scoliosis (curvature of the lower section of the spine) and I pulled my back one day at work five years ago. Work recommended me to this chiropractor near my place and I went about every other day for like three weeks.

Dude did amazing work. I will never have anything bad to say about the practice - until I meet someone who's a quack or something.
