Houston has a large alumni base for any college in the nation esp those in Texas OK, LA, to play there and local recruits is of value
yall put WAY TOO much emphasis on the current football team and football in general.
Houston is NEVER EVER going to the Big12 unless UT and OU leave

Houston has to focus on the city since they can't focus on fan support, academics, facilities, or overall athletic program.
