Kid is 13. I just bought a camp in Franklin County and took up deer hunting a few years ago. He loves it, but has only gotten one doe over three seasons - mainly because we can't get there too often and I'm a crappy hunter. I think he's getting frustrated that he never sees any bucks (except on our neighbor's trail cams) and I want to keep him excited about hunting. He also doesn't like it when we pass on the does in hopes to see a buck. If I can get him a decent buck every couple years to put on the wall, I think he'll be happy taking the occasional doe at our place until we get lucky.

P.S. I also like this idea of hitting a cow in the head with a nail. Sounds like a blast.
