Nonresidents
Nonresidents must purchase a 3-day, 7-day or annual nonresident saltwater fishing license when saltwater fishing from the shore or a pier, bridge or jetty attached to the shore unless fishing on a pier with a pier license.
Residency requirements

------

FYI a license is required, Florida residents are not required to have a license to fish from shore.

Also as an FYI, I have friends who fish this area and use only live shrimp to target snook at night. If you are willing to shell out the money for live bait and a bait bucket to keep the bait alive you would boost your chances to catch fish.

I bought a 7 day license yesterday, so I'm good on that.
