This is why I've kind of jumped off the Saints bandwagon the last few years. They've had LSU players on their roster since the teams inception, but haven't had any, that I know of, since Devery Henderson (I don't count Delvin Breaux). I think it's Tom Benson who doesn't want them on the team.

Drafted Al Woods (actually traded up for him).
Had Matt Flynn on the team last season.
And we've had a lot of players that Payton really liked, but didn't fall to us. They absolutely loved Jeremy Hill and ODB
