Southern Miss' last trip to Tiger Stadium in 1994. Curley Hallman and all of his sound bite glory.

I watched that one with a Florida fan. It hurt really badly.

Rumor has it that Curley was in NOLA getting drunk the night before that game

Interesting video. There were more people at the South Carolina game last year than at that game. Bleak times.

I forgot about the "Dinardeaux must Geaux" shirts.

The irony is that LSU hired Hallman away from Southern Miss. Why? Because while he was there, they beat Alabama.

I was a student at that game. It was bad. We had a few friends who went to USM at the time. They easily made their way to the student section in the 4th quarter to rub our faces in how bad we sucked. Good times.

I was at that game and was miserable.

It was a sad time in LSU history. I was on my way through BR and decided to go to the game. I needed 6 tickets, found them for $10 a piece and then saw another one of Hallman's pitifully coached games. I do remember TE Lafleur having a great game though. But overall the Hallman era lasted 4 yrs too long, horrible HC.

Hanny claims dean said he would have kept curly if he had won that game.

I might have been at the game I can't remember. Hallman actually came to LSU from Southern Miss.
Maybe y'all didnt like the way Les Miles talked, and that's understandable. But comparing him to Curley Hallman? Come on now

I was there with my 2 then young sons. This is why when I read that CLM is a poor HC, I just laugh. I have seen a BAD HC, and his name is Curly Hallman.

That loss is my favorite moment in Tiger football history. After that game, my father was so disgusted with LSU football that he gave me his season tickets. They were tickets that he had owned for decades. I still have them today. Serendipity...
