i think thats the biggest problem for me is that i use the pen just about everyday.
anybody have the note 5 and how nig of a difference is it from the note 7?

Don't have it, but there's no sd slot in the note 5.

I have a Note 5, and the stylus is much better than on my Note 3 (I use both: one for work, one for personal).
The 5's screen is a much higher rez that the 3, and the pics it takes are also of much higher quality. Overall, it's a great phone and the battery asts a long time.
The one key feature, for me, missing from the 5 that was in the 3 is there is no IR Blaster. I use the IR and an app that controls my home theater and other items. When I travel, and go to a hotel where the TV looks crappy and they don't give you access to the menu, this lets me do it. But not with the 5.
