Precisely why this game MUST be played. A lot depends on how these 2 teams do the next 1/3 of schedule. If LSU and FLA both win out then the winner of this game could actually be in SEC championship game. Let's see how our Tigers do against Southern Miss. b/f worrying about FLA game. I have a good feeling LSU will be on a serious roll against some serious competition the back part of the season - much different than last season. Amazing how much has changed in only 1 season: new defensive coordinator, new offensive coordinator, new head coach, and new QB. I like the "new" direction the Tigers are headed down the stretch. Like my all-time greatest owner in the history of the NFL used to say "Just win Baby!" GEAUX TIGERS!

Not playing is basically equivalent to a loss for LSU

Look I can handle a Loss, as long as we go down fighting to the last man on the field, so it not the winning, it is dealing with a loss when everone did the best they could. We have not seen many like that.
