Mike Wilbon
"I think Alabama and Florida oughta tell LSU and Mr. Alleva to go to hell...and they've got the school that's not even smart enough to wait till the end of the season to fire their coach, so I'm not taking any suggestions from LSU!!"

Rachel Nichols:
"If you're LSU, you of all places, shouldn't you know about natural disasters...I think this is really shameful.'

The only thing that's shameful is the lack of sensitivity that national media and PTI shows to the floods that occurred here. We are the bad guys because we don't want to take a home game away from the Baton Rouge community. It's insulting.

I can't recall an ESPN employee getting so heated and angry when talking about a university as Wilbon consistently does with LSU. It's disgusting, he is bad at his job.

EVERY other game in the region was played.

However, Alleva and LSU don't give a sick rat's arse what Wilbon says. Nor, do I.

What does Alabama have to do with anything? This is between LSU and Florida.

The frick? LSU moved games after Katrina with no issue.

How in the living hell is LSU the bad guy in all of this? They are the only ones that made any good faith efforts to play the game in the first place.

But that's exactly why LSU has standing to lecture Florida. Bc LSU went through an actual disaster.

I have a bigger problem with this narrative. LSU wasn't insensitive in their handling of this matter. And one only needs to look back to 2005 to find an example of how to handle the exact scenario Florida was faced with this year.

What was really shameful was Foley insisting, until Thursday, that the LSU players and coaches fly into potential tropical storm conditions.

I love that. Telling people that know about natural disasters how we should act. Maybe the people that know about natural disasters are the ones acting appropriately and the ones that don't, the National media, should shut their mouths.

With all that said, I definitely agree with the posters saying the only time to watch espn is when a game is on. The rest of the time is espn pushing their agenda and opinions.

I turned espn off after bounty gate.
