Growing up there, I attended everything from David Copperfield to off Broadway musicals.. It's an incredible small venue with great acoustics.. The original design and woodwork are a great walk back in time to when handcrafted theatres were an important part of a cities landscape.. It drove me crazy when the haynesville shale hit and the place was near shuttering while the population was flush with cash..

The segment earlier on the Nola local news (fox8) was about the Oregon they has been out of commission for decades
