I swear that I read in the commissioner's regulation document that said something like conference games would take precedence over non-conference games but it didn't really elaborate on that. And I can't find it again.
If that line does exist, how will it be interpreted?

Other than that, there is this line.. "Any conflicts that result in this schedule that cannot be resolved by the institutions involved will be submitted to the SEC Presidents and Chancellors for final resolution."

So it appears that they might have the authority.. Although it's completely unprecedented and far from thoroughly described.

This is from Rabalais' column today:
