re: What do you mean when you say "Next Friday"?

I see no uniformity at all in what people mean when they say this, so I avoid it completely....I either say "this coming Friday" or give a date when talking about it in order to avoid confusion.

something to think about is that when someone says "next week", there is no doubt about what they mean.
