The BR area suffered more damage from the recent flooding than Gainesville did from Matthew. Why isn't this being brought up more? The local economy needs the money!

I think it is being brought up. Thats probably where the Governor comes in. Also, see the last paragraph in the Rabalais Article "no one has the moral authority to preach to the people of La about hurricanes."

Rabalais is the media mouth piece for the LSU Admins.

The rocket scientists on ESPN could give a flying about any of this. This is nothing more to them other than advertising dollars and something to talk about...there are a few exceptions.

BayouBengal/others/I had a run at this last night. We are in agreement BayouBengal on this subject of "money involved", there's much more to it than gate receipts.

Exactly. The Wisconsin loss should be negated because we lost valuable preparation time due to the flooding.

See how ridiculous that sounds?

As far as I'm concerned, if the game isn't played 10/29 Florida forfeits.
