This thread reminded me of the Halo rule.
Jesus Christ, that was the worst fricking thing to be abused subjectively.
What the frick is a halo? Two yards...right? Are we going to measure every circumference?
The rule not only was basically insane, it gave returners free reign to take off.
It might be the most anti-football rule ever. Go ahead, catch the ball...go run unfettered...maybe we can catch you later.
