This isn't a federal issue. No reason for Vitter to weigh in.
That being said, the letter was good up until the "come on, man" reference. That was bad.

No, the "c'mon man" reference is smart. I'll explain. By using that ESPN catch phrase, ESPN is much more likely to pick up the story and the letter from Vitter citing it. This helps turns the issue into national news for the number one sport platform in the country, which will pressure Florida to move the game or look bad if they don't.
