Question - DEMANDING REFUND EVEN IF GAME IS NOT CANCELLED!

I have tickets to this game. Four of us are going including another couple. Driving to Tifton, GA and stopping by their house (only 2.5 hour drive from G-ville). We will make a decision on whether or not to drive to games based on best possible 411 at the time.
IF the game is held but for those of us who refuse to risk it due to conditions in and around G-ville what is the recourse for demanding a refund from Stubhub? Due to unique nature of the situation anyone think they would refund even if this craziness continued and the game is played? Without a doubt if the reports don't look good we ain't driving!!! At worst we get to watch the game on TV and see old friends we have not seen in a while. Comments please.

If bought off of Stubhub, you're kinda stuck. I know that's not the answer you were looking for but that's the case.
The aggravation falls, IMO, to Foley. He stretched this out for so long, it's shameful.
I want to say I'm surprised the SEC office hasn't gotten involved but that's for another thread.
I'm with you, man. I have no idea why they waited this long, actually even longer, to make a decision.
Cancel it if it's unsafe. That pretty much was the general consensus with anyone with a tv today. Why they continue to troll everyone saying, "we'll make a definite announcement at blah blah blah" is beyond me.

I would imagine thats a tough shite there.
From Stubhub
quote:
If the event is cancelled or postponed:
If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, we will provide you with a full refund (including any fees and shipping/handling charges). We will notify you that the event was cancelled and provide instructions on how to obtain the refund.
If an event is postponed and rescheduled, you may use the tickets on the rescheduled date or, time permitting, list them for sale on StubHub. If replacement tickets are required for entry to the event on the rescheduled date, StubHub will work to obtain replacement tickets for you or provide you a full refund (including any fees and shipping/handling charges). If you cannot attend the event on the rescheduled date, you are encouraged to list the tickets on StubHub. Except when replacement tickets are required, StubHub does not provide refunds for postponed or rescheduled events, partial performances, or venue, date, lineup, or time changes.
Other terms:
"Comparable or better" replacement tickets are determined by StubHub in its sole discretion based on cost, quality, availability and other factors.
Tickets may include event tickets, parking passes or other items offered for sale on StubHub (unless the listing explicitly exempts the order from the FanProtect Guarantee).
To receive the benefits of the FanProtect Guarantee, you must comply with the StubHub User Agreement and all policies, guidance and emails we send you regarding your order, including any timelines or procedures to notify StubHub of issues.
The FanProtect Guarantee does not apply in cases of buyer’s remorse or any reason other than the reasons stated in this Guarantee.

Let us know how the DEMAND works out for you.

Place an add in the paper to all fans who did not go due to the danger involved to keep their tickets and somehow sue the league and SEC for reimbursement.
I am not sure that would be beneficial however.
