I love Orgeron's Focus Friday and rest

For the first time all season, the team came out energized and played that way for the entire 60 minutes. All of us were so dumbfounded as to how LSU could've come out as flat as they did against Wisconsin and Auburn. One of the things Orgeron confessed was that Miles would run 80-play scrimmages several times a week (essentially 3 games before the real game). The Wednesday before the Auburn game, les ran a 100 play scrimmage before the trip. There is a fine line between being in good shape and being exhausted, and I firmly believe the team was physically exhausted. Orgeron's plan of building up the energy throughout the week really showed against Missouri, and I can tell he has a good sense of how to relate to the players. I just hope we can actually play this game against Florida

There is a serious issue of diminishing returns in regards to practice. The time to beat the shite out of the players is in the summer, by the time the season gets under way it should be more about opponent centric game plans than full out practices.

80-100 play scrimmages of toss dives?

I like it also, but, as soon as we look unprepared, people will be saying that is the reason

Train smarter, not harder. Rest and recovery are crucial aspects.
Coach O's schedule for each day of the week is very smart.

I apologize for my comment.
I meant nothing by it.
No excuses.
You guys can proceed kicking me while I'm down.

All good until we loose one. Then this board will be hollering we don't practice hard enough.
