There are plenty of good coaches who can utilize LA talent. Thankfully, LA is a talent-rich state.

Yeah, there are tons and tons of coaches out there with good winning records at schools that can't compete with LSU in HC salary, assistants salaries, recruiting, facilities, etc. And just because those guys might not be the top guys doesn't mean they aren't good coaches that could be great at LSU.

It also doesn't mean that any of those are guarantees. My guess is that Jimbo is probably the closest to a guarantee of success out of all of those guys. But if he doesn't come, there are plenty of guys who've had good success at other schools. Just find one that doesn't talk like a moron and have clock management issues.
