This is LSU basketball. A small school coach, assistant at a major program, or an older coach looking to retire here would be the way to go. I would have to research coaches on the rise. LSU's basketball facility/PMAC is one of the worst in the SEC and the country for a major college basketball program. Also it's just not that good of a job. It's not a rabid fan base for sure. I heard Floyd an Brady are like best friends. I don't know if that matters?

XIV, this isnt about who went to the Final 4 and who hasnt. It is about who will come in and compete and give the fans a new hope. Give the fans excitement. I would love Tony Bennett to come, but he really isnt exciting. He is all about defense and fans here really do not want to see a 50-45 game. I do believe he is the next great coach though. Anthony Grant is one that will bring excitement. Billy D groomed, he is the one I would take here other than Bennett. The next coach I would take is one who will be a head coach in the next 3 years, so why not at LSU. Steve Wojciechowksi. He has been under Coach K for a long time and he knows how to develop players, more so point guards. He has a great understanding of the game but he will need a big time recruiter with him.

You can bring up how they have not been to a Final 4 and blah blah blah, but they will all 3 be great coaches. Brady will never be classified as a great coach.
