I would have to disagree that he only kept quiet because of his boss. Ultimately, he and other football staff handled these rape allegations directly , and didn't report any of it to the proper outlets. That's why he was fired. That's not proper protocol.

That's exactly why you fault the guy. This is not legal. You can't just divert rape cases and handle them internally. Football coaches/administration are not judge and jury. These instances need to be reported to outside departments, at a minimum. More likely, they should have let the police investigate the accusations.

Really? Every head coach covers up or shush rape cases? I don't believe that. Let's just assume that statement is true, does that make it ok to hire Briles? Should we go ahead and get Sandusky out of jail and on the staff while we are at it? I just can't understand this logic.
