Yep WRs must work with a sense of urgency. Again LSU needs to have practice time for the small things everyday. Jump balls, turning and looking for the ball for DBs and jump ball for them, stripping the ball carrier as he runs through the line if you can't tackle him at least get a hand on the ball, getting all DL to get hands up on pass plays especially 3rd down, we apparently need to practice seeing interceptions being calm when you see the ball and just make a play on it. We look too anxious out there. We also REALLY need to work on our zone coverage, lots of TOs happen in zone. Lastly we need to work damn hard on pass blocking!!! This has got to be fixed!!! If we can create a nice pocket for Etling we will be a much improved offense. If Ed O and the assistants can take notice of these things and have our boys practice these situations everyday it would improve our team drastically.
I did notice a huge difference in shedding blocks to make 1/1 tackles this week. That made a big difference in this game. But we really need to work on the above situations in football games. If we improve on these things we can become a really dominate team. GT
