I'm not sure how PFF comes up with all their ratings. Check this out...

Gabbert (49ers) -- 16/23 196 yds 1 td 1 int qbr = 57.5

Prescott (cowboys) -- 23/32 245 yds. 2 td 0 int qbr = 84.7

PFF ratings for each...

Gabbert = 68.8
Prescott = 50.9

Exactly

If the Dline runs a stunt, he's lost. Go watch the play Brees was sacked (almost a safety).

People can sunshine pump all day, but Peat is a below average NFL lineman. Fact.

I didn't hear his name called out once yesterday. Thats what I like to not hear. O-linemans names or numbers during a game

Peat did his job.

Brees was forced backwards due to the interior rush, preventing him from stepping up in the pocket

He has not been below average at all this year, FACT. He certainly hasn't been below average at G. FACT.

Are you kidding? It is called a pocket. The pressure from the interior made that happen. Peat did his job. Football 101. The further a QB has to drop back, the better angle for edge rushers.

He was sacked at the 1 yard line when the LoS was the 12. I don't think the 11 yard drop back was due to edge pressure.... This is why pff makes the money.

I understand that it's the cool thing around here to say that Peat sucks, but he's actually been one of our better Olinemen this year. He's had 3 good games out of four. He's still VERY young, and will only get better. People might as well accept him, b/c he's going to be with us a long time most likely.

Peat has actually played just as good as Unger this season. Unger whiffed big on 2 plays that I saw yesterday.
