The problem I have with prequels is you know the outcome, obviously... But prequels never seen to have the juice an original story does... Even great ones like BettEr Call Saul can never be as good as the original simply because you're not on a rode with a unknown outcome.

My suggestion would be to go EAST with the story... Wayyy east... into the unknown shadow lands full-on witches, sorcery, dragon eggs, and mysticism.

It's a win-win... You still hold onto the Game of Thrones world and all the post show happenings, but from a different view and from a previously unexplored, unknown world... There simply are no limitations and predictability a prequel would have.

The only other worth while option I can think of would be to go SO far back I time, it has almost nothing to do with Game of Thrones... Like what The Silmarillion did.

I disagree. With well written shows and great casts, like Better Call Saul, the how is more important than the what.

I mean, why watch historical dramas?
