Caught the sarcasm.
If O had followed his failures as a head coach with a stellar record as an admired defensive coordinator, I would be more open minded.
Take Kiffen, as an example. Yeah, he failed, but he's still in high demand as an architect of offenses.
I don't say it's impossible that O would succeed. It's just a long shot. Why would LSU take a long shot when we could get much better odds with a Tom Herman or someone similar?

if he can maintain this enthusiasm among the players for the rest of the season......it's gonna be extraordinary. most of this game is a mental (confidence) game. a lot is talent obviously. but.....if he can keep these kids fired up like he did at USC (with for less talent).......it can be really really explosive with this talent.
in a nutshell........BEBE finally gets his chance with a loaded team. let's see what he can accomplish.
