coaches with shitty records WILL NEVER EVER have a good record one day. to think otherwise is obsurd.

Caught the sarcasm.

If O had followed his failures as a head coach with a stellar record as an admired defensive coordinator, I would be more open minded.

Take Kiffen, as an example. Yeah, he failed, but he's still in high demand as an architect of offenses.

I don't say it's impossible that O would succeed. It's just a long shot. Why would LSU take a long shot when we could get much better odds with a Tom Herman or someone similar?
