now.........all of a sudden.......we have a coach that will put the players in a film room

Now...we have Cam Cameron, an NFL offensive coordinator!
Now...Cam Cameron will be on the sidelines!
Now...we have Aranda!
Now...Cam will be in the press box again seeing what the defense's weaknesses are!

The truth is, Now...we don't have shite. But if we make a great hire we might. I'll bet on this: if Orgeron has enough success to force his hire as permanent coach, it will set this program back years. There's a reason he's 55 and making 20% as much as Tom Herman makes at 41.

Success is not something that is deposited. If that were the case we would have been fine after Arnsberger. Why do people insist on trying to give Saban credit for the things that Miles accomplished? Bunch of idiots.

you're right penrod.

coaches with shitty records WILL NEVER EVER have a good record one day. to think otherwise is obsurd.

Doubtful

It all depends on how he rounds out his staff if he is the permanent coach.

If he can keep recruiting going and retain Aranda and bring on a top flight OC like Kiffin then he can maintain a strong program.

You do realize there has been plenty of coaches who failed , learned from their mistakes, then became really good at their job right? I'm not advocating O for the job but he did prove at USC that he he is not the same coach that he was at Ole Miss. I promise you that USC wishes they had retained O as head coach instead of letting him go.
