Cam must have been a huge a-hole or grossly incompetent to be fired by an interim coach.

Apparently he wasn't well liked on the staff.

He sounded like a lazy arse collecting a paycheck.

I'm very glad BeBe told him to FO.

All of that is very true: LSU players like Marcus Spears and Harvey Williams publicly voiced no hesitation Miles should be fired: Williams said from the 1st WISC play he saw nothing changed and they should run Miles & Cam out of town like in a Frankenstein movie with torches.

"I think what everybody is saying is, 'Let's go over 600 yards and put 50 (points) on people'," Miles said. "We're for that. The issue is we have to find the recipe that allows that to happen." Look at the SCAR game Shotgun/RPO/Tempo, 3-4WR, 627 yds, 83 plays, a record. If he had visited Herman 2-3 times like Saban/Kiffin, TCU, CLEM, ALA, OM ...he could have found out RPO/Tempo is what all the Top teams are doing 80-100% of the time and Saban is asking Herman to explain how he beat him and how he can go as fast as OSU, TCU, HOU, BAY.

Miles/Cam's out-of-date boring offense was hard to watch and the worst 3 yr stretch in Miles tenure, 69% overall record dragged Miles winning % down.

10-10 SECW. 15-11 SEC record over 3 years with the #2 SEC roster, #5 national, with no Top 10 finishes since 2011 and unranked 2014 and currently with his best Roster. When you under-perform your Roster strength by more than 15 pts over 3 yrs you get Fired.

7 out 10 of the top 10 have never had a top 20 recruiting class, Herman was 73rd and finished 8th.

A control freak, hot-tempered, fought with Flacco & Harbaugh, been fired 4 times (actually 5 - 2x at Ravens), never coached a QB except Indiana Randle El who was 45-50% completion, 42 TDs/37 INTs and had a 18-37 record with Cam as HC - result fired. Miami HC 1-15: Fired. 5 yrs with Flacco and never got past I formation, 2WR/2TEs/FB, Flacco was sacked too often because Cam's slow vertical WR routes into double coverage made QB hold ball too long, poor play calling/game planning, ran when he should have passed, passed when he should have run, no misdirection, rubs, hitches, screens, crossing patterns, and he had the lowest 3WR utilization in the NFL - that is base formation.

In other words he did just what he did here. He talked like he was responsible for the development of Brees, Rivers and other QBs he had some association with as an assistant or OC. He wasn't.

He got Mett killed in the ALA game 2013 that ruined his knees, and has killed all of our to DTQBs by sticking them under center he and Miles threaten them with benching for INTs. and win 58%-60% of his games. But he was Miles BFF: best man in each other's weddings, godfather to each other's sons, shared a windowless office for 9+ yrs as Bo Schembechler Asst Coaches. As OC he was not the QB coach: Jackson, Zorn, and Caldwell (Peyton Manning's HC) were Flacco's coaches. When he was fired in 2012 by the Owner, Flacco set a Playoff record for TDs, Pts, Yds/game, in a wide-open HUNH Shotgun offense, won a Super Bowl with a 100 million dollar contract. Bottom line: He and Miles are exactly the same and they did not listen to anyone else on the Staff - why so many Coaches and Players left.

When Miles immediately offered him the job he took it and said he saw no reason change anything and did not. Mett's best year was 2012 6-2 SEC with his last 4 SEC games averaging 250 yds.
