Your correct I had it wrong. It is a bargaining chip for Miles. He can take "Les" money from a new school and let LSU subsidize his new gig. IF its a smaller school or an FCS program.

I'll bet he gets a gig in a power 5 conference and will be paid more then 1.5MM per year. The man is not as bad of a couch as we like to think he is. There are tons of schools that would pay for 9-3 season every year. It would be even better if he ends up in a shitty conference with less real competition.
