OK, slow down and hold off on the bombs! I realize that the odds are overwhelming that it will not happen. BUT, if it did, how can LSU not make him the HC when he accomplished what LM could not do for the last five years!!!

If he does run the table then surely the Tiger faithful will say he did it with Miles' players.

Just like they said Miles was winning with Saban's players.

But it isn't happening at all. What will happen is that O will open up the passing game somewhat and show the boosters that, yes, Miles was correct that it'll take 2-3 more years at a minimum to recruit players that can run the kind of offense the boosters want to see.

It depends who they can get.

Hope we do run the table though.

If he goes 8-0 the fan pressure will force Alleva to hire O permanently. Then the program will decline over the next few years and we'll have to rebuild the entire program.

I just want lsu to hire the right Coach for the job. if he runs the table I don't think you have a choice. if he does I would be sooo impressed. if he beats bama and loses 1 I still think he gets the nod. either way this is win win for lsu. im gonna say this though it wouldn't surprise me if he did, that would be the only man that I would think could pull this off. either way I'm rooting for him and LSU. wouldn't mind seeing a crazy Cajun be the next great coach at LSU. I mean if he gets the job done that's all that matters right, but he would need a top flight OC In my opinion
