It's how people with walls up already run their wires. How complex is your wiring? Is it running through all kinds of studs and stuff? Or is it a pretty straight shot? If it's a pretty straight shot you should have no problem. Run several extra pull strings so you can pull your other cord back through and so you have an extra if you ever need to replace a cable.
