I think it's illogical for ESPN to think that we should settle for 9-3 seasons when we recruit top 5 classes nearly every damn year.

With that much talent there should be no reason as to why our offense hasn't ranked above 33rd in the last 8 seasons.

The defense has been under major pressure over the last decade to keep opposing offenses to under 20 points in order for us to have a chance to win. That's why we've had 3 coordinators in the last 3 seasons. It's too much.

All they pay attention to is how nice and classy Les is yet they are the main ones bashing us for not making any changes on offense.

ESPN can frick off and anyone one else that got something to say.

Every since Nebraska fired Solich for 9-3 seasons and Nebraska has never been the same, that seems to be the standard by which folks on the outside of programs gauge the legitimacy of making a change in that situation.

But Nebraska is so much of a different situation that LSU that it does not compare.

Louisiana per capita, almost every year, has as much or more than any state in the country and LSU has no relevant in-state competition for that talent...(not to mention east Texas and east to the Florida Panhandle all easy driving distance from here)a coach would have to be a borderline idiot not to have a top-15 recruiting class here.

LSU pays their assistants more than any other program in the nation therefore the best assistants want to be here.

I could go on and on, but Nebraska didn't have these advantages, it was/is much harder for them to succeed in this day and age.

LSU as a program passed being a 9-3 program years ago and it should not accept going back without a fight.
