So basically dude gets on the radio and says things that everyone knows:

Herman will stay at Houston if they go to the Big 12. Duh.

Jimbo Fisher is conventional wisdom "wishful thinking"

But heres the thing...

The Big 12 expanding is not simple. It may simply not happen this year. There is a lot to that. If it doesnt then the likelihood of Herman leaving is pretty high. The LSU job is a great fit for him and there won't be a better job come open soon except maybe UT...but who knows on that. If the Big 12 doesnt expand and the UT does not come open...LSU is the best job and he almost has to take it if he wants to advance.

On Jimbo - If he wants to leave it will be a surprise to a lot of folks because it won't be about money. It will be because he wants the LSU job. That is a hard thing to guess on if its true. I believe completely that he would be our coach right now if we had fired Miles last season.
