we did well after that except for the pick that was even worse
Yes, almost like there are multiple picks in a draft. Crazy

You do not start if you do not play.
So this freak injury makes him a bust and not part of the future? No, his injuries don't make him a bad pick at this point. That is hindsight

You do not contribute if you do not play.
zero concussions at Georgia. Your logic is faulty

That is the definition of "mostly bad with few bright spots." Which is exactly what I said. Sure, they didn't hit 0%, but is that really the standard you want to measure as a success?
We have a lot of potential starters and contributors to the future out of that draft.
Talent evaluation was not an issue in that draft. If you want to lose confidence in Ireland b/c of freak concussions to 2 players, go for it. That is silly
quote:
That makes it 2/8 including Breaux
Peat - long term starter at G
Breaux - potential long term starter at corner
Williams - potential long term starter at corner
Davison - potential long term start at DT
Murphy - 7th round special teamer
So even leaving off Kikaha and Swann due to injury, while also ignoring what Anthony showed in his rookie season, getting long term starters out of a draft is a success. You draft on potential, and getting 4+ potential starters in a draft is a good thing. The only injury you can put on the front office is Kikaha.
The 2015 draft was not a bad draft. It had mistakes and it had positives.
